Seattle, Washington, United States of America September 27, 2011 -- SEATTLE- Share your tweets on a mobile web page with foneFrame [www.foneFrame.com/fF/], a free mobile development tool from Azalea Software. foneFrame is a mobile web framework that creates websites for smartphones like Android and iPhone.
Built using HTML5 + CSS3, foneFrame publishes RSS, XML, SSI, and HTML5 files for mobile devices. One example of how foneFrame can push existing data to the mobile web is by using it to publish a Twitter stream. Each tweet is displayed in sequence within a mobile web page. The foneFrame style sheet can be used to customize the display of the embedded tweets, creating a user-friendly feed that's accessible from any smart phone.
Web designers can use foneFrame to wireframe new mobile sites quickly and easily, confident that the result will be a standards-compliant site. Use foneFrame with jQuery, Phonegap, and other popular web development tools and libraries.
foneFrame is available in two versions: a free version released under Creative Commons license (CC BY 3.0) and a full-featured, bells'n'whistles version with additional formatting options. The paid version is $59 and formats RSS, XML, and Server Side Includes (SSI) files, embeds Google Maps and Google Calendars, and includes lots of examples of how the foneFrame style sheet can be used to design a variety of different page styles.
