Young DA sign world wide distribution deal with Wolf Entertainment

Derrick Deshawn Holland (Born April 12, 1987), better known by the stage name Young D.A, is an hip hop recording artist from Detroit, Michigan. He released his first single, "I'm A Star", in 2010 under a label by the name of M.o.b records/ Music of Business Ent. Young D.A then used his talent to make songs like "Final Countdown", "Across the Room", and others. In 2010, Young D.a teamed up with Victortainment to complete another project and songs by the name of "Making Moves", "100", "If You Down" and many more". Now Young D.A has gone solo and he has signed a world wide distribution deal with Wolf Entertainment, and first they will release a single either called "I Will" or "Main Girl".

Young D.A was born as the only child to his mother in Detroit, Michigan. Young D.A's very first experience with the art of music was Michael Jackson's "Remember The Time" at the age of 5 years old at home, in 1992. He credits rappers such as Eminem, Lil Wayne, T.I., Jay Z, Fabolous, & Kanye West as major influences to become a smart and successful artists in the industry. Young D.A started off writing little raps on paper after school at the age of 8, which he later converted to music. He loves to incorporate metaphors and punchlines in his music. He started progressing lyrically in his nineth-grade year attending AOM (Academy of Michigan) and earned his first nickname, "Young Ace", which was created by his friends and family because of his abilities to rap. He became very passionate about music and started learning about Pro Tools, Reasons, MPC, Garage-Band, etc. Young D.A's first recording experience in a studio came after graduating high school in 2005. Young D.A began his road to success as a artist. Opening up concerts for a few mainstream artists such as, Young Buck, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Dmx, and many more. He gained a mixed fan-base across Michigan.

Young DA came to the attention of Hellmut Wolf, Director of Wolf Entertainment via Head Boss who is in charge of A&R USA for the company, and he liked his style immediately. Says Mr. Wolf: "The moment I heard Derrick (Young DA) I felt he has something very special. The way he combines really cool musical choruses with his Rapping is awesome. His production is slick and the songs have certainly a strong commercial appeal. What strikes me the most about this young man is his dedication to his music and art. He is really hungry and wants to have success badly, and he goes about it is a very direct way, with great spirit. Now that we are working together we will guide him to release his first international single and to shoot a video clip. We are still in discussion which track we are going to pick as the first song, and once that is released and the video is out, Young DA is going to be working on his debut album while we promote the single and get him heard around the world."
